Staff Sergeant Kelly M. Reinertsen is the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of administration at the
University of Memphis, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 785. Staff Sergeant
Reinertsen manages personnel records for cadre, NECP students and cadets. Additionally, she monitors
all cadet pay actions, tuition, fees, subsistence, and textbook funds in excess of $200K annually.
Sergeant Reinertsen also oversees cadet medical, physical, enlistments, personnel actions,
categorization- commissioning and cadet life cycle. Sergeant Reinertsen has deployed to Afghanistan in
support of Operation Freedom Sentinel and Inherent Resolve.
Staff Sergeant Reinertsen earned her Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Penn State
University in 2013. She entered in the Air Force in 2016 under Administration, and is currently pursuing
her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
