Cyber Safety Professional Development Series

The Center for Information Assurance will offer a series of professional development workshops to the general public in order to spread awareness on the importance of Cyber Safety. These workshops will cover topics that range from Password Safety to Cryptography and more! Our current workshops can be found below.

❖ Digital Forensics

Gain an understanding of static computer forensics analysis by learning about forensic principles, evidence continuity and the methodology to employ when conducting a forensic investigation in response to a cyber-crime or incident.

Past Workshops

❖ Cyber Safety Professional Development Workshop – August 3, 2017

In this workshop, the Center for Information Assurance welcomed local teachers to the University of Memphis to introduce the concepts of Password Safety and Cryptography. Participants engaged in hands on activities and engaged in discussion with Cyber Professionals. Each teacher left with material that they plan to use in their classroom. Each participant left with a Certificate of Completion for their dossier. A copy of the agenda can be found here.
