International Partnership & Agreement Process

Follow these steps to develop a new international partnership agreement
Meet with the International Center to discuss your proposed partnership and review
the agreement process.
Complete and submit the International Agreement Form, including a letter of support
from your Department Chair and Dean.
Identify the appropriate contract template (University template, partner institution
template, or a custom agreement).
The agreement is drafted and reviewed in collaboration with the appropriate offices,
including legal counsel, as needed.
The agreement is shared with the partner institution for review, feedback, and any
necessary revisions.
Once approved, the agreement is signed by all required parties from both institutions.
Connect with partner institution to begin collaboration and implement the terms
of the agreement.
If you already have an agreement with an international partner, the International
Center can also assist with renewal agreements. The steps for renewing an agreement
will be very similar to those listed above but may be expedited depending on the institutional/partnership
history.
