Dr. Alex Lindsey is an Associate Professor of Management in the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at The University of Memphis. He earned his PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from George Mason University in 2016. Dr. Lindsey's program of research seeks to generate effective strategies that individuals and organizations can use to promote employee well-being and reduce interpersonal mistreatment in the workplace. His work has been published in impactful outlets such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Vocational Behavior and Journal of Business and Psychology. Dr. Lindsey’s work has been supported by external grants from the National Science Foundation and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He also serves as an editorial board member for Journal of Business and Psychology. As a result of these accomplishments, Dr. Lindsey was named the George Johnson Reseach Fellow in Management in 2024.
