It is my honor and privilege to welcome you to the University of Memphis Loewenberg College of Nursing. I am excited to serve as Interim Dean and am deeply committed to supporting the continued excellence of this remarkable college. LCON thrives because of our vibrant community of dedicated administrators, accomplished faculty, exceptional students, devoted alumni, and valued community partners. Together, we bring LCON’s mission and vision to life.

As Interim Dean, I am dedicated to transparent, collaborative leadership that fosters an innovative, diverse, equitable, inclusive, and compassionate environment rooted in scholarly excellence. Our mission is to prepare students for the evolving demands of healthcare through accessible, high-quality nursing education. Through cutting-edge technology, dynamic teaching, impactful research, and strong clinical partnerships, we work to improve the health of both local and global communities.

LCON continues to experience extraordinary growth. We are proud to be a nationally ranked college offering a wide range of programs—including the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Accelerated BSN, RN to BSN, Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing, and Post-MSN Certificate programs. With campuses in Memphis and Jackson, and flexible on-ground or online options, students can tailor their education to meet their individual needs.

Our students are immersed in experiences that challenge and elevate their professional development, preparing them to become leaders in the nursing field. We encourage them to utilize our robust support systems—academic advising, the health sciences library, meditation and quiet spaces, the Blue Scrubs Go Green thrift shop, the Scrub Hub Support Portal, mental health and wellness resources, the Student Nurses Association, scholarships, peer tutoring, and more.
