About Russ Teague

Russ Teague provides leadership, supervision, and guidance to the Payroll department. He has more than 22 years of experience in payroll within the profit and not-for-profit sectors.  He started his career at First Tennessee Bank as a Payroll Accountant before joining the University of Memphis Payroll Office in 2001. He has more than 20 years of work experience with the University.  He transitioned from Payroll Assistant Manager in 2011 to Payroll Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from LeMoyne-Owen College and is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
