Your safety is our #1 priority – that is why the University of Memphis wants to make sure you know about emergencies and incidents as they happen. The University moved to Emergency and Mass Notification System known as Everbridge as of June 15, 2023. The University previously utilized LiveSafe, and that system will also remain active as a back-up during a short transition period.
The University of Memphis will use UofM Alert powered by Everbridge to make sure you know about issues that may affect your safety. This system allows the UofM to contact thousands of campus community members in seconds so you can find out about an emergency right away.
PLEASE NOTE: All active University faculty, staff and students should receive notifications via University email from Everbridge without signing up or downloading the Everbridge app, however, YOU are in control of the way you receive your information. We STRONGLY recommend that everyone check and make sure your preferred phone numbers and email addresses are correct by logging in from a web browser here. Downloading the Everbridge app will allow you to receive push notifications to your smarphone. Application may be downloaded via Everbridge - Apps on Google Play for Android or https://apps.apple.com/us/app/everbridge/id565859420 for Apple. Please email email@example.com if you have any questions.
