FCBE Career Fellows Program
Program Overview
Fogelman College of Business & Economics (FCBE) and Bank of America have partnered to create the FCBE Career Fellows Program. This program is designed to engage, educate and effectively prepare Black-African American business students for professional success. This partnership is a demonstration of Bank of America’s commitment to driving opportunities for people and communities of color.
Benefits
Acceptance into this two-year cohort will offer FCBE students:
- One-on-one professional development training through the Avron B. Fogelman Professional Development Center.
- Exclusive mentorship opportunities with Fortune 500 corporate partners
- Professional experience and coaching to help students compete for summer internships and full-time job placements upon completion of academic degree program.
In addition to these invaluable real-world connections, our FCBE Career Fellows will also receive:
- A new, state-of-the-art laptop
- $500 professional attire allowance
- $500 textbook allowance.
Eligibility Requirements
- Full-time FCBE major (Accounting, Business Information & Technology, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing & Supply Chain Management)
- Rising junior business student OR two-year Southwest Community College transfer student who is completing their business degree at UofM
- Black-African American student
- GPA 3.0+
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and/or
- 20+ volunteer hours of philanthropic service.

endeavors and/or why you believe participation in this program will positively benefit
you, both personally and professionally.

- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
- It is preferred that only one reference is from a UofM professor/employee.
- The second reference should be from someone in the community.)
