HSMP Hosts End-of-Year Graduation Banquet

The University of Memphis School of Public Health Division of Health Systems Management and Policy recently held its end-of-the-year graduation banquet. They honored their graduating students, as well as alumni and faculty.

The event was opened with congratulatory remarks from Dr. Ilias Kavouras, Assistant Dean of Academic and Student Affairs and Professor, as well as Dr. Marian Levy, Associate Dean for Public Health Practice and Community Engagement and Professor. Chris Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis, was both the keynote speaker and honored as the alumnus of the year for the 2026 graduating class.  

Each of the 16 graduating students were honored with an award as well as inducted into the Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society. Dr. Dale Sanders was nominated by the 2026 graduating class and received the Outstanding Faculty Member award for his work as both Interim Division Director and Program Director while teaching.  

We look forward to seeing more from these bright minds!
