UofM SPH and Fogelman College of Business and Economics Host Joint Meet and Greet

The University of Memphis School of Public Health and Fogelman College of Business and Economics recently welcomed students, faculty and program leaders for a Dual MHA/MBA Meet and Greet. Designed for students who want to lead at the intersection of healthcare and business, the program combines specialized preparation in healthcare administration with broad expertise in finance, accounting, strategy and management.

During the event, participants heard from SPH Dean and Distinguished Professor, Dr. Ashish Joshi and Dean of the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, Dr. Robert Garret about how the rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum helps students evaluate challenges from multiple perspectives, communicate across professional boundaries and make informed decisions in complex organizations. SPH and Fogelman faculty members were present to answer questions from participants. 

Current dual-degree students also shared how the program has expanded their knowledge, strengthened their professional preparation and provided support from faculty across both colleges. 

For students seeking to broaden their career possibilities and distinguish themselves in a rapidly changing healthcare environment, the Dual MHA/MBA offers more than two degrees. It provides the integrated perspective, versatile skill set and professional network needed to lead with confidence.
