Faculty at every level of AI fluency are invited to join UofM instructional designers as we explore the evolving landscape of teaching and learning in the age of AI. We’ll meet in person with colleagues from across the university to discuss and share practical insights on thoughtfully integrating AI into your teaching practice—without sacrificing foundational skills.
By the end of this series, you’ll be an AI-ready educator, eager to share what you’ve learned with others in your discipline.

This workshop series is open to:
- University of Memphis faculty
- We welcome all AI competency levels from novice to expert.
- We ask participants to attend at least 3 out of 4 in-person meetings.
Outcomes
- Critically evaluate the ever-changing terrain of AI in higher education.
- Set your own AI teaching guardrails and contextualize them within your department’s AI teaching strategy as well as that of the university.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of AI for professorial tasks.
- Develop assessment strategies that support robust learning.
