Governor's School for International Studies

Program Dates: June 8-29, 2024
Program Details: The Governor's School for International Studies (GSIS) is a three-week residential program for highly motivated and academically-talented rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in global issues and engaging with others with similar interests. Students will attend two daily lectures, a language class, and a reading group. Other activities include a model united nations, Bafa Bafa, and expert guest speakers.

Summer at the Scheidt Music Camps

Program Dates: Choir Camp: June 10-15 (middle + high school) – resident and day camper options
Band + Orchestra Camp: June 17-22 (middle + high school) – resident and day camper options
Popular Music Camp: June 24-28 (middle + high school) – resident and day camper options
Music Camp: July 8-12 (elementary) – no music skills needed
Program Details: Join us for the Summer at the Scheidt Music Camps hosted by the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. Our immersive camp sessions are designed to ignite their creativity, enhance their musical skills, and broaden their knowledge in a supportive and inspiring environment. Campers work with our expert faculty through masterclasses, personalized instruction, hands-on activities, rehearsals and performances.

Jackson Swim Team

Program Dates: May 28, 2024 - May 27, 2025 (Year-round swim programs for kids of all ages and abilities)
Program Details: Jackson Swim Team exists to provide a productive, safe, and fun learning and competitive swim program, with trained coaches and volunteer support, that empowers athletes to succeed to their highest potential in and out of the water. JAX Summer Swim Team is for swimmers who want to participate in the sport for the summer. Our goal is for Summer Swim Team members to both enjoy swimming and also get introduced to competitive swimming by encouraging beginner-friendly meets. Swim Lessons are also available for those learning to swim for safety and skill development.

The Simmons Camps

Program Dates: Team Camp: June 20-22
Elite Camp: June 23
Youth Camp: June 24-27
Program Details: The Simmons Camps, hosted by Coach Alex Simmons, head coach of the Memphis Tiger women's basketball team at the University of Memphis offers campers the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of of basketball, as well as new techniques they can take with them during their upcoming season. There are camps for grades K-12 to support students at all skill levels.
