Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

This certificate program in GIS integrates the latest innovations to ensure you gain a relevant skill set to manage, analyze and visualize geospatial data, that can be put to work across a range of commercial and open source platforms.  It is the only program in the country to accept experiential learning credit for GISPs and offers an internship course that provides practical experience in real world settings. Potential employers include governmental agencies, health and logistics, environmental and engineering services.

The certificate program requires completion of 12 credit hours (2 core courses, 1 elective and 1 capstone GIS Project). The online course options include Geographic Information Science, Advance Geographic Information Science, Modular GIS and Capstone GIS Project.
