How the Process Works
Complete Interest Form
Fill out an Internship Host Interest form and provide details about your organization and the position description.
Get StartedConnect with the MHIP Team
Schedule time to meet with an MHIP Specialist to discuss the internship details and how to post your open positions.
Email MHIP TeamOnboard & Mentor
Once an offer is extended, we initiate onboarding. You provide the site supervision and a learning-focused environment.

A transformative internship goes beyond clerical tasks. We ask our partners to provide:
- Meaningful Work: Assign projects that contribute to your mission and allow students to apply their research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Regular Mentorship: Designate a site supervisor for consistent check-ins and professional guidance.
- Commitment to Growth: Help students align their work with the NACE Career Readiness Competencies, including Professionalism, Teamwork, and Critical Thinking.
