Kimberly Rogers has been assistant director of Marketing and Communications for the Herff College of Engineering since May 2022. Kimberly has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, including web and social media management, graphic design, desktop publishing, as well as writing for print and electronic mediums.

She joined Herff after more than three years as Web Specialist II for the Loewenberg College of Nursing (LCON). A title that did not adequately reflect the job responsibilities for her position. In that role, she was responsible for managing LCON’s website, as well as social media platforms. In addition, she performed graphic design, marketing and communications roles that extended beyond the web.

Before LCON, Kimberly worked in pretty much the same role in the dean’s office of the College of Communication and Fine Arts for a little more than six years. She was also heavily involved in event management and community relations. Prior to the University of Memphis, Kimberly worked in a variety of positions from content specialist to manager, Web Projects in the Web Services department of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. During that time, she managed the system's intranet, external websites as well as the implementation of a new content management system and website redesign. Before Methodist, she was at Baptist Memorial Health Care as publications coordinator, where she was responsible for The Baptist Leader, a weekly newsletter with a circulation of 14,000.
