About Joyce Collier
Joyce Collier has been in Nursing Education since 2008 and has experience teaching a variety of courses including adult medical-surgical, community health, and maternal newborn nursing. She currently teaches full-time in the undergraduate nursing program on the Memphis Campus. Her courses include Nursing of the Childbearing Family Clinical Practicums at various local health care systems.
Ms. Collier received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Community Health Nursing from Worcester State University located in Massachusetts. She also holds certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Public Health. She is a member of the Tennessee Nurses Association (TNA), American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
Whenever she has a free moment, Joyce enjoys spending time with her grandchildren as well as her tiny chihuahua. Her hobbies include reading, counted cross stitch, and embroidery.
