About Mary McDougal

Mary McDougal currently serves as an instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program where she teaches Intro to Med/Surgical Nursing Practicum, Clinical Skills I and Remediation (Timely Learning Coaching). She has 13 years of experience teaching in the areas of medical surgical nursing, community health nursing, and health assessment.

Ms. McDougal has a Master of Science in Adult Health Nursing from Arkansas State University College of Nursing and Health Professions, MSN with a speciality in Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Arkansas for Medical Science College of Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing.

Ms. McDougal is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, 054 Beta Theta–at Large, Greater Memphis Area Advanced Practice Nurses (an affiliate of the Tennessee Nurses Association), American Nurses Association (ANA), Arkansas Nurses Association and National League for Nursing. She practices in the Regional One Health trauma medical surgical areas. She has experience in medical surgical nursing, rehabilitation, and home health nursing.
