Professional Overview
Brandi Pruitt began her nursing career in 2015 after she earned her BSN from the University of Memphis. As a registered nurse, she began to work for West Tennessee Healthcare at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee, where she still currently practices PRN. She holds a specialty certification as an adult critical care registered nurse. She also earned her MSN with a concentration in nursing education from the University of Memphis in 2020.
Pruitt joined the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus in 2019 as adjunct clinical faculty for the Complex Adult Health Alterations course. In January of 2020, she joined faculty as full-time in the BSN program at the Lambuth Campus. Her primary focus in the Foundations of Patient-Centered Care and Foundational Nursing Skills courses for first semester nursing students.
