NIH Funded Research Seeks Participants

Project Blue to focus on reducing the risks of alcohol

 

The Health Addiction and Behavioral Intervention Team (HABIT) Lab is looking to recruit participants for their NIH funded alcohol prevention project. The purpose of this research study is to understand what might help people change their health behaviors, including alcohol use. The study is open to young adults who are not 4-year college students or graduates. Interested candidates may be eligible to participate in a paid, confidential research study at The University of Memphis and earn up to $250 for completing the study.

PROJECT BLUE

Interested Participants:

Step 1: Complete screening survey for eligibility

  • Brief screening questions online (below), by phone, or in person. 
  • If you complete the 3 minute screening survey, you will be entered in a raffle with a 1 in 100 chance of winning a $50 Amazon gift card.

 

Step 2: Complete study

  • If you are eligible - we will contact you to complete confidential surveys about your health behaviors and lifestyle
  • Two 1-hour sessions where we will discuss: alcohol use, activity participation, nutrition, and stress reduction
  • You can earn $250 for full study participation.
