is designed to help junior faculty improve their chances of funding from NSF. The
Division of Research & Innovation prioritizes these awards as they serve as a strong
foundation for future funding. All recipients of the NSF CAREER awards are given the
designation of UMRF Ventures Assistant Professor, which includes a stipend to advance
your work. Active participation in all aspects of this program is critical and you
