Dr. James Whelan, clinical health professor in the Department of Psychology, was awarded $180,000 from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for his project "Gambling Treatment Services FY 2021."
Dr. Sabyasachee Mishra, associate professor and Faudree professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, was awarded $134,544 from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) with the US Department of Transportation (US DoT) for his project "Evaluating the Adoption and Impact of Autonomous Delivery Technologies."
Dr. Firouzeh Sabri, associate professor and chair in the Department of Physics and Materials Sciences, was awarded $125,000 from Paragon TEC with the National Aeronautics and Space Admin (NASA) for her project "Physical Science Curriculum Development for K-12."
Dr. Brian Waldron, associate professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Director of the Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering Research (CAESER), was awarded $62,763.00 from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) for his project "USDA NRCS EO."
Dr. Charles Garner, associate professor in the Department of Chemistry, was awarded $3,651 from SweetBio, Incorporated for his project "Developing a simple analysis for traces of carbodiimides."
