Dr. Timothy McCuddy
Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice
Faculty Profile

Dr. McCuddy holds a Ph.D. in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. His research focuses on the causes and consequences of youth crime and violence by examining how schools, neighborhoods, and the Internet impact offending and victimization. He specializes in peer groups and crime, school safety, and the role of digital communication in the etiology of delinquent and criminal behavior. His work has been funded by the National Institute of Justice and his recent publications can be found in the Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, Justice Quarterly, and the Journal of School Violence. 

Dr. Jae Teuk Chin
Department of City and Regional Planning

Dr. Chin is an assistant professor in the Department of City and Regional Planning. Chin holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning from the Ohio State University. His research interests are driven by the intersection of land use planning, the built environment and sustainable development.
