Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet all standard admission criteria set by the University of Memphis Graduate School and the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. All applicants must submit an application form and a current graduate transcript to the Department of Marketing & Supply Chain Management for departmental review and approval. This certificate is open to:

Current degree-seeking graduate students: Students enrolled in a UofM graduate program may pursue the SCM certificate concurrently.

Non-degree-seeking graduate students: These students must provide documentation of their non-degree-seeking status along with a completed SCM certificate application.
Please note: admission to the SCM certificate program does not imply admission into any other graduate program within the Fogelman College of Business and Economics.
Graduation Requirements
To be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management, students must:

Complete all four required SCM courses for a total of 12 graduate credit hours.

Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (B average) or higher across all certificate coursework.

Submit both an Intent to Graduate form (to the Graduate School) and a Graduate Certificate Candidacy form(to the College Director of Graduate Studies) by the deadlines published by the Graduate School during their final semester.
Retention and Academic Standards
To remain in good standing within the program, students must adhere to the Graduate School retention policies. Specifically:

A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 must be maintained throughout the program.

If a student’s GPA falls below this threshold, they will have one semester to bring their GPA back to an acceptable level.

Failure to meet this standard within the allowed timeframe will result in dismissal from the certificate program.
