Biography

Professor Steve Lin is the James T. Thompson Chair for Excellence in Accounting Education at University of Memphis. Professor Lin has a Ph.D. degree in Accounting and Finance from Victoria University of Manchester, England, a Master of Art degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University, England, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in Accounting from Soochow University, Taiwan. Professor Lin was the Knight Ridder Eminent Scholar Chair in Accounting at Florida International University, lecturer/senior lecturer at the Manchester Business School, England, and a visiting research fellow at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before he joined the School of Accountancy at University of Memphis in August 2019.
