Photography captures the essence of UofM's brand. When selecting and planning photography, consider utilizing shots that showcase our core values.
UofM photography style strives to capture campus activity, along with our active, can-do attitude. When creating externally-facing marketing pieces (e.g. billboards, print ads, brochures, posters, etc.), consider using a spontaneous, editorial approach, with moments happening naturally. Shallow depth of field and available light also define our style. We understand this may be challenging—and not always feasible—for certain projects. For internal (non-public) pieces, use best judgment in trying to communicate UofM's brand along with department-appropriate photography.
