The Crews Center for Entrepreneurship offers students opportunities to explore entrepreneurship through pitch competitions, accelerator and venture development programs, seed funding, mentoring and paid internships.
Employers and startup leaders can engage with emerging talent by mentoring students, supporting new ventures and providing hands-on internship experiences that help foster innovation and entrepreneurial growth.

Tiger Tank Pitch Competition
This competition gives students the opportunity to pitch their business ideas, showcase their entrepreneurial talents, and compete for cash prizes and recognition.
Entrepreneurs Internship Program
The Crews Center for Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurs Internship Program connects University of Memphis students with startups and growing businesses for paid, hands-on internships. Students take what they learn in the classroom into real ventures.
ImagineU Summer Accelerator
The ImagineU Summer Accelerator Program is a unique, immersive and intensive 8-week entrepreneurial experience in which students learn and live the early-stages of their entrepreneurship journey.
Launchpad Venture Development Program
Launchpad is a 7-week venture development program for University of Memphis students who are actively building a business. Through workshops and peer collaboration, participants strengthen their ventures, gain traction, and prepare for long-term growth.
Catalyst Seed Fund
Courtesy of an anonymous donor, the Crews Center Catalyst Seed Fund provides limited amounts of grant funding to help aspiring entrepreneurs overcome minor financial obstacles as they explore or grow their business. Entrepreneurs do not give up equity in their company to receive this funding.
Mentorship Program
The Crews Center for Entrepreneurship Mentorship Program connects entrepreneurially curious UofM students with experienced entrepreneurs. Whether you have a venture underway or just an idea, a mentor can help you take the next step. You’ll gain guidance from someone who has built a business and become part of the Memphis entrepreneurship community.

Entrepreneur Internship Program
Need entrepreneurial-minded interns? The Entrepreneurs Internship Program gives your company exclusive access to talented University of Memphis undergraduate and graduate students during the Spring and/or Summer semesters. Many participating companies hire new interns each semester or keep their interns on beyond the first term.
Mentorship Program
Share what you’ve learned with the next generation of Memphis entrepreneurs. Crews Center mentors help University of Memphis students build confidence, sharpen their ideas and grow as leaders, and they strengthen the city’s entrepreneurial community along the way.
