Crews Center for Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurs Mentorship Program

The Crews Center for Entrepreneurship Mentorship Program connects entrepreneurially curious UofM students with experienced entrepreneurs. Through personal development, venture development and intentional mentorship, mentees build confidence, strengthen their skills and turn ideas into action.

Mentors are matched with mentees each semester for about 15 weeks.

What Mentorship Offers

  • Personal development. Build leadership, communication and teamwork skills through hands-on activities.
  • Venture development. Get guidance as you shape, test and grow your ideas.
  • Intentional mentorship. Work with an entrepreneurial mentor who offers encouragement, listens closely and serves as a positive role model in business and the community.

Whether you have a venture underway or just an idea, a mentor can help you take the next step. You’ll gain guidance from someone who has built a business and become part of the Memphis entrepreneurship community.

Why Get a Mentor

  • Subject matter expert. Share your expertise in a specific area when students need targeted guidance.
  • Mentor match. Be matched with students as their needs arise.
