Recognizing outstanding Health Science students

Thursday, 23 April 2026 - A group of dedicated Health Science students were recognized for their exceptional academic achievement, commitment to their planned profession, and contributions to the field. The honorees, selected from a competitive pool of candidates, demonstrated outstanding performance in coursework, clinical training, and community health initiatives throughout the academic year.

Each spring, Student Leadership and Involvement in conjunction with Student Academic Success, the Commencement Office, and the Office of the President hosts the President's Leadership Awards & Honors Assembly. This reception honors the University of Memphis' finest and brightest student leaders and organizations for their leadership roles and service.

"We are proud to have these students representing our college and university. They are outstanding both in and out of the classroom, and I have no doubt they will go on to be wonderful community leaders." – Richard J. Bloomer, Dean
