The 10th annual Midsouth Biomechanics Conference will be held April 9–10, 2026, at the University of Memphis, with sponsorship from the University of Memphis College of Health Sciences. The event highlights student research, features invited speakers on wearable sensor technology, and offers free registration and CEU opportunities.
The Midsouth Biomechanics Conference will celebrate its 10th annual meeting on April 9–10, 2026, at the University Center at the University of Memphis. The conference continues its mission of bringing together students, researchers, and professionals in biomechanics and movement science, with a strong emphasis on student research and career development. The University of Memphis College of Health Sciences is a proud sponsor of this year’s event.
MSBC 2026 will feature podium presentations from undergraduate and graduate students, along with opportunities for networking and collaboration. Organizers highlight the event as a valuable space for students to present their work, connect with peers and mentors, and explore future academic and professional paths.
This year’s invited speakers include Joshua Burns, Aanuoluwapo Ojelade, Chen Yang, and Yiyang Chen. Their shared presentation theme, “Wearable Sensors: Opportunities and Challenges,” will explore how emerging technologies are shaping research and clinical practice in human movement.
