On June 15, 2026, the University of Memphis College of Health Sciences’ newly developed Strength and Conditioning was granted full accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE). The minor, offered within the Exercise, Sport, & Movement Sciences bachelor’s program, requires 300 contact hours of field-based experience and prepares students through rigorous coursework. This accreditation reflects the program's commitment to upholding the highest standards of excellence in education and shaping career paths. Starting January 1, 2030, the program offers eligibility for the Certified Strength and Conditions Specialist exam for those with a Bachelors degree or higher.
