Engineering Day at Herff

Every year, the Herff College of Engineering hosts eDay, providing students from the Mid-South the opportunity to visit the University of Memphis and participate in activities and competitions designed to get them more interested in engineering and STEM-related programs. 

We are excited to welcome you to eDay 2026 — now on a Friday!

This change was made to better support school schedules, transportation planning, and field trip opportunities. We have enhanced competitions, hands-on activities and demonstrations across our engineering spaces, and additional event details will continue to be updated as we get closer. Check back often to help plan your visit.

Lunch will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Engineering Administration Building lobby (2nd floor).
Meals are $5 each. A convenience store will also be open with snacks and drinks available for purchase.
