
About Dr. Mohorn-Mintah
Dr. Olayinka Mohorn-Mintah’s research focuses on science teacher professional development and science identity construction among teachers and students across urban, PK–16 classrooms and informal learning settings. She is particularly interested in community-centered approaches that connect science learning to local contexts and lived experiences. Drawing on her background as a secondary science teacher, science teacher leader, and instructional coach, Dr. Mohorn-Mintah is dedicated to supporting science teachers, particularly those in the early stages of their careers, and strengthening pathways into the science teaching profession.
