Professional Overview
Professor Geater has been teaching at the Loewenberg College of Nursing since the Fall semester of 2022. The majority of her nursing background consists of Medical Surgical Nursing. As a graduate of Emory University's prestigious Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Education Center, Professor Geater is board certified in all three scopes of practice by the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board. Aside from teaching Foundations of Patient-Centered Care and Foundational Nursing Skills, she works one day per week as a Wound & Ostomy nurse for Methodist Lebonheur Healthcare-North.
