FLITE Program Overview

What is the FLITE Program?

FLITE stands for Finding Leadership In the Transfer Experience. The FLITE Program at the University of Memphis is a six-week cohort-style extended orientation that supports incoming transfer students' transition to the university by exposing them to University programs, resources, and traditions while connecting them to fellow students in a diverse environment. The program allows students to experience Tiger spirit and provides them with an opportunity to build connections with fellow classmates.

The FLITE Program is a great way to meet new friends, learn about getting involved at UofM, and get connected to campus throughout your first semester on campus! Start your Memphis experience on the right foot with FLITE!
