FLITE Camp Overview
Due to concerns and guidelines related to COVID-19, a decision has not been made on whether extended orientation programs will be conducted in-person, virtually, or using a hybrid model. We will continue to review CDC guidelines along with state and local recommendations as we determine the best practices for conducting our extended orientation programs. The health and safety of students is our number one priority as we help new students transition into the University of Memphis community. Please continue to visit our website for updates on upcoming extended orientation programs.
What is FLITE Camp?
FLITE stands for Finding Leadership In the Transfer Experience. FLITE Camp at the University of Memphis is a three-day, two-night extended orientation program that supports incoming transfer students' transition to the university by exposing them to University programs, resources, and traditions while connecting them to fellow students in a diverse environment. The program allows students to experience Tiger spirit and provides them with an opportunity to build connections with fellow classmates.
