42nd Annual Juried Student Exhibition
Each year, the Art Museum of the University of Memphis (AMUM) hosts its Juried Student
Exhibition, which celebrates outstanding University of Memphis students from the Art
and Design department. The exhibition provides students with an opportunity to gain
professional experience as an artist/designer by preparing work for exhibition and
submitting it to a jury process. The jurying process had some exciting changes happen
this year. After many years of the it being facilitated online, it was transferred
to being in person. This year, Rose Smith, who is the photography curator at the Brooks
Museum, was selected to choose the artworks featured in the 2025 show. This exhibition
will be on display from February 8th - March 21st.
