Practicum Training Program
Our practicum trainees are selected from The Counseling and Clinical Psychology Doctoral and Master level programs, in addition to the Master of Social Work Program. We embrace a practitioner-scholar model so that practicum students benefit from professional interaction, supervision, mentoring, and modeling from center staff. While clients' presenting issues may range from developmental concerns to more severe psychological problems, most of the therapeutic work is brief, due to the nature of university life. We offer a formal Case Management service and/or provide updated referral resources for clients needing more intensive treatment modalities.
We are excited to welcome our newest cohort, for the Fall 2026- Spring 2027 academic year! Questions related to 2027 – 2028 practicum training opportunities may be forwarded to the Assistant Director, Practicum Program and Staff Professional Development
