Our community-based clinical educators are essential and deeply valued members of the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. They provide our students with mentoring as well as meaningful, real-world experience that helps prepare them to become excellent clinicians.
It is our mission to provide students with a wide variety of clinical experiences while providing a continuum of support using best practices in clinical education.
Our vision is to develop future clinicians who
- Provide culturally competent, client-centered care
- Are stewards of best practice
- Demonstrate excellence in critical thinking
- Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues
