Drone Image Processing with DRONE2MAP

This DEMO session of Drone2Map will provide skills of 2D mapping to create high resolution orthomosaics, elevation models and multispectral indices; 3d Mapping to create 3D colorized point clouds, 3D textured mashes and 3D PDFs and publishing to ArcGIS Online and integrating with ArcGIS Pro. It is best suited for people who want to know how to process drone images after they are collected, but with no previous experience in GIS. If you want to know more about integration with ArcGIS Pro, you can take GIS Fundamentals with ArcGIS Pro. No purchase necessary for tutorial. Instructional material will be provided.

If you want to follow with the instructor, you can bring your laptop. You should have access to your organization's ArcGIS online account and free trial of Drone2Map downloaded to your laptop and running prior to the course.

GIS Fundamentals with ArcGIS Pro

This interactive lab session will focus on the fundamental concepts of GIS and skills needed to begin using ArcGIS Pro 2.3 software. This course is for those who want to get to know ArcGIS Pro - ESRI's next generation software for creating, using, and analyzing professional 2D and 3D maps. If you want to build a foundational knowledge of GIS, or you are a professional who is considering a different GIS product, and want to see how to do familiar tasks in a new environment, this course is for you. Topics include configuring symbology, contextual ribbon, feature attributes, 3D GIS, and connecting spatial datasets. Limited to 20 participants. Instructional material and tutorials will be provided.

Advanced GIS with ArcGIS Pro

This interactive session builds upon the skills obtained in the GIS Fundamentals course with ArcGIS Pro 2.3 software. Topics will include building geodatabases, facilitating workflows, and geoprocessing tools.

GIS Applications to Public Health
