Pre-Registration

 

Where can I find the full list of training courses?

You can access the full list of training courses on our newly launched training website at fittechtraining.com. Simply navigate to the website and explore the comprehensive catalog of available courses to find the ones that best suit your needs and interests.

 

Can anyone sign up for a training class? 

Yes, while we do allow for individual sign-ups, we always suggest that you to connect with us to discuss the possibility of hosting a training program for your entire team. Our team is here to assist in creating a solution that aligns seamlessly with the unique needs and goals of your organization. 

 

Are training in-person or virtual? 

Our training sessions are offered in both in-person and virtual formats. The specific format for each training will be clearly indicated in the listing, providing you with the flexibility to choose the mode that best suits your preferences and circumstances. 

 

Who teaches these trainings? 

Our training courses are conducted by highly qualified subject matter experts, and we also collaborate with industry leaders who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to facilitate the sessions. This ensures that you receive instruction and insights from professionals who are well-versed in the subject matter and can provide valuable perspectives from their expertise in the field. 

 

Are there prerequisites? 

While a foundational level of knowledge is preferred for our trainings, specific prerequisites, if necessary, will be outlined in the class descriptions. We recommend reviewing the course details to ensure you meet any specified requirements and can fully benefit from the training experience. 

 


Post-Registration

 

Do in-person trainings include lunch? 

Yes, we offer catered lunches from various local restaurants, accommodating for all dietary restrictions. We also provide snacks, coffee, and water to ensure a comfortable and accommodating environment during your training course. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to make your experience both enjoyable and tailored to your needs.  

 

When am I sent course materials? 

You will receive an email from us around one week before your scheduled training course containing all materials. 

 

Do I get a certificate? 

Yes! Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate to acknowledge your achievements and participation. We believe this certificate will serve as a valuable recognition of your dedication and commitment to the learning process. 

 

Where is the FIT located and how do I get there? 

The FedEx Institute of Technology is in the University of Memphis main campus at 365 Fogelman Drive in Memphis, TN 38152.  

 


Payment

 

What are my payment options? 

Your payment options include credit card, ACH/wire transfer, and personal checks.  

 

Can I pay via installments? 

Unfortunately, installment payments are not available at this time. 

 

Do I get tuition reimbursement? 

We do not provide tuition reimbursement as part of our offerings. If you are interested in exploring reimbursement options, we recommend liaising with your internal HR or benefits department for further assistance and guidance. 

 

How long do I have to pay? 

Payment is required upon registration for attendance. We recommend registering for training at least 72 hours (about 3 days) in advance to ensure timely processing of payment. 

 

Can I get a refund if I already paid for training but can no longer attend? 

All training classes are NONREFUNDABLE within 14 days of the training’s scheduled start date. Attendees who wish to cancel within the 14-day nonrefundable period will need to email Rami Lotay (rslotay@memphis.edu) and give a detailed explanation as to why they cannot possibly attend. 

 Attendees may still be liable for payment in full pending review from our staff. 

 

Are there any available discounts? 

While we do not currently offer specific discounts, our training programs are competitively priced to provide optimal value for both you and your employees. We believe in delivering high-quality training experiences at a reasonable cost.
