Residency Requirements

The University of Memphis delivers online programs through the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) /uofmonline/state-authorization/

Online RN-BSN programs in the Loewenberg College of Nursing may include clinical, practicum, field experience, and/or internships that require additional consideration if not completed in Tennessee, Mississippi, or Arkansas.

Students, who while in the nursing program, relocate to states in which LCON is not authorized to offer distance education will be required to fulfill the remaining course requirements in Tennessee or in another authorized state, or withdraw from the program.
