Abstract
Many people struggle with mental health and wellbeing. For college students, it’s hard to balance their health alongside going to school, working, and spending time with friends. This project aims to foster a sense of community among college students struggling with mental health in an online forum-based setting. Students will be able to communicate amongst themselves and share their struggles with mental health. There will be newsletters with valuable content that will give students ways to improve their mental health whether that be through art, meditation, or other exercises. Mental well-being can be improved by communication and having people around you with similar struggles who could help in your journey. This forum can dedicate space to discuss mental health in different ways and will provide college students with personalized resources. The execution of this project expects an increase in improved mental health from engaging with informational videos and resource directories provided through the online forum.
