Global Health Club

Global Health Club - Orientation

The Global Health Club (GHC) is a student-led platform that provides opportunities to explore pressing global health challenges, build professional networks, develop leadership skills, and participate in ethical, equitable, community-centered public health action. Issues such as emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, climate change, food and water insecurity, displacement, maternal and child health, and health inequities require interdisciplinary and collaborative solutions. Through dialogue, service, research, professional development, and community partnerships, the GHC will connect students with faculty, practitioners, and peers while strengthening awareness of the links between local and global health. The club will help prepare students to become collaborative, equity-focused, and socially responsible public health professionals.
