Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Substance Abuse

The Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Substance Abuse seeks to expand the number of behavioral health professionals
ready to work in inter- anprofessionalimpactedCertificated integrated health settings with populations by substance use disorders (SUD)
in the Memphis and greater Mid-South region.
 

Admissions Requirements

The certificate is designed for students concurrently pursuing or already holding a graduate degree in one of the following
programs: School of Social Work, Department of Counseling Education, Psychology & Research, and the Department of Psychology.
 
         Please include a brief autobiographical statement and relevant academic, internship, volunteer,
         and/or work experience.
 
  • Three references with their addresses, telephone numbers and email address. Persons who may
          be contacted in reference to the applicant's competencies and ability to work with populations 
          impacted by substance use disorders (SUD).
 

Deadlines

Application deadlines for the Interdisciplinary Graduate in Substance Abuse are as follows:

  1. For Fall semester start, deadline is May 31
  2. For Spring semester start, deadline is November 30
