During this period of drastic change, many services are resorting to remote versions at their typical delivery. Social Work is not excluded, with telehealth and teletherapy services growing significantly in the wake of the pandemic. We will be providing a list of articles, guidelines, and resources to help our faculty, students, and the community adjust during this crisis.

Directory of Clinical Supervisors. Please note: the directory will continue to be updated as clinical supervisors request to have their information listed. If you are a licensed clinical social worker interested in providing clinical licensure supervision to LMSWs, please complete a request form to be added to our Social Work Supervision Directory. Please contact Dr. Laura Taylor with any questions.

Peer Power Institute
In partnership with the University of Memphis and Memphis-Shelby County Schools, the Peer Power Institute is looking to recruit high achieving college students to tutor high school students in the classroom for the 2022-2023 school year as Success Coaches. Currently 100 University of Memphis students are employed by the Institute and are the second largest employer on the campus after the University itself.

2022 HIV RESOURCE GUIDE
Midsouth Faith Summit-
August 20th, 2022 marked the 4th observance of Southern HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (SHAAD). Each year there is a theme to commemorate the holiday. This year's theme was "Woven Together: Ending Injustice to End the Southern HIV/AIDS Epidemic." Injustice takes many forms, including racial discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, housing disparities, and generalized HIV/AIDS stigma. During the 2022 Virtual Faith Summit, the aim was to address the stigma of HIV/AIDS that fuels the injustice of the HIV/AIDS epidemic through education and ongoing conversations with the community. The goal is to continue to "Fight Stigma with Faith" to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Midspouth.
A 2022 HIV Resource Guide for the Midsouth Region was created that has comprehensive information regarding testing services, HIV care, harm reduction services, mental health services, support groups, crisis hotlines, and transportation services currently available for Shelby County, Tipton County, Crittenden County, Desoto County and Marshall County
TN Social Work Task Force
The University of Tennessee College of Social Work, University of Memphis School Social Work, Coalition of BlackSocial Workers, and NASW, Tennessee Chapter have joined together to lead a task force to review disparities in licensure exam pass rate data shared in August by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB). The Task Force will also identify avenues to ensure our profession welcomes and promotes diverse qualified professionals.
