Whether you are a local or from outside the Mid-South, Parent and Family Weekend is a wonderful time to connect with your student in their new home, visit campus and get to experience life as a Tiger! You will have the opportunity to meet other Tiger families, faculty, and University of Memphis administrators.

Come out to make some great memories with your family and feel connected to your student and their college campus! This year's events include three meals, a Memphis Bus Tour, Picture Time with Pouncer, Class Experiences, Theatre Performances, Tailgate at Tiger Lane, Football Game vs. University of Texas at San Antonio, and much more. We look forward to hosting you, your family, and your student during this fun-filled weekend. We hope to see you there! You don't want to miss out! Registration will close Monday, September 13 at 11:59 pm CT.

ENCOURAGE YOUR STUDENT TO GET INVOLVED!

Did you know? Students who are involved...

  • have higher GPAs and critical thinking skills
  • are more satisfied with their college experience.

This year students have the opportunity to explore different activities through Tiger Zone. Tiger Zone is a database that chronicles Registered Student Organization (RSO) profiles, membership rosters, and events, as well as other engagement opportunities from around campus. Click here to be redirected to TigerZone

The beginning of a new school year is a great time for new students to join a registered student organization.  The University has over 150 registered student organizations (RSOs) that cover a wide variety of student interests. If your student doesn't find one that addresses their interests, they can start their own! 

FRATERNITY & SORORITY RECRUITMENT

For our students who are interested in joining a Fraternity or Sorority, recruitment is currently ongoing. For more information, by visit the Fraternity & Sorority Recruitment website.
