Faculty Profile
Dr. Donghee Kim is an Assistant Professor of Hospitality and Resort Management in the Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and Resort Management at The University of Memphis. Prior to joining the Kemmons Wilson School, Dr. Kim received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University, a B.B.A. in Hotel Management from KyungHee University, and a postgraduate Diploma in Hotel Management from Swiss Hotel Management School.
Dr. Kim's research interests include restaurant service management, consumer behavior, and research methodology. Her research has been published several times in the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Dr. Kim's research has been presented at numerous academic conferences, such as ICHRIE, the Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality and Tourism, and APTA Conference.
