Social Work Licensure

 

A social worker is a highly trained, licensed professional.  The Social Work licensure protects the public by ensuring that social workers possess the proper education and training to provide ethical and compotent services.  Social Work licensure is a requirement by each state and must be met to attain a state license.   The Tennessee chapter of the NASW (National Association of Social Workers) provides the rules and regulations related to Social Work licensure in the state of Tennessee.   Other valuable licensure resources include: TN Department of Health Social Work Boards TN Social Work Licensure Chart ASWB (Association of Social Work Boards).
