UofM Graduate School Advisory Board Member: Ashley W. Argo
Ashley W. Argo graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in
accounting in 2000 and a Masters’ degree in Taxation in 2002. Prior to working at
First Horizon Bank, Ashley worked at Arthur Andersen, LLP within Private Client and
received her CPA license in 2003. Effective January 2025, Ashely will function as
the Chief Risk Officer for First Horizon Bank.
Ashley has been with First Horizon Bank for over 20 years and has had multiple roles
during that tenure from Accounting to Credit to Risk. Ashley has served on the leadership
council of First Horizon's Employee Resource Groups to help drive strategies to engage
and support employees, she was tapped by CEO Bryan Jordan to co-host First Horizon's
biennial Leadership Forum and has served as chair of First Horizon's Women's Initiative
Employee Resource Group.
A proud University of Memphis graduate, Ashley remains VERY engaged with the university
– especially the Tigers’ athletics. Ashley and her husband, Tim, serve as ambassadors
on the Tiger Leadership Circle to elevate the University’s athletics program and connect
athletic and academic success for student-athletes. Ashley is also a graduate of New
Memphis Institute’s Leadership Development Intensive, Graduate School of Banking at
the University of Wisconsin, and was named a 2022 Memphis Business Journal Super Woman
in Business. Their son is a proud Campus School Tiger!
