• Unpaid Instructional Interns are those students whose academic program requirements include instructional internship hours. To place an unpaid instructional intern in the classroom, the following steps must be followed:
  • • 1. Request a sponsored account for the student who will be doing an unpaid internship. https://www.memphis.edu/its/accounts/sponsored.php
    • 2. Complete the Unpaid Instructional Internship MOU form Unpaid Instructional Internship MOU After it is signed by relevant parties if should be sent to the registrar's office if access to CANVAS is being requested for the intern. Unpaid instructional interns need to complete FERPA training before entering a classroom.
    • 3. Unpaid Interns must also register as volunteers on campus using the link below. Registration of Volunteers
