Engineering Leadership Course Application

Each spring, the Herff College of Engineering offers ENGR 4010, an engineering leadership class open to engineering uperclassmen and taught by Dean Dr. Okenwa Okoli and Herff Hall of Fame member Jerry Collins. 

This course is designed to help new and aspiring leaders unlock the potential in themselves and others.

Enroll in the course to become a more versatile leader by learning from expert engineering leaders and immersing yourself in real-world leadership challenges and self-assessments. Class size is limited. Incomplete applications will not be considered.  

Students learn leadership traits in the classroom, are offered the opportunity to meet with Herff alumns and our corproate partners and have the chance to tour government and industry facilities, such as the 2026 class trip to Washington D.C. and Baltimore.
